Volunteer at Youth & Family Services
A Hand Up
Volunteer’s time and talent go a long way at Youth & Family Services (YFS). Time spent as a YFS volunteer translates into the caring attention a child or teen needs to grow up healthy and resilient. It translates into support for children and families so they can be successful and strong.
Volunteers are at the heart of every program YFS sponsors for children from birth through age 18. The support from volunteers enable YFS to reach more than 10,000 children through its centers in Rapid City, S.D., and outreach programs in 24 counties in western South Dakota.
As a YFS volunteer, you can help in several of our programs including: Child Care; Western Prevention Resource Center; Nutrition and Support Services; Male Involvement Project; administrative assistance; special events and so much more!
Kids Fair

Volunteers can participate in nearly every activity with the children. For more information, or to sign up, please call Steve Merrill or Connie Olson at (605) 342-4195.
